I took the opportunity to attend the town of Simsbury First Selectman debate on September 25. While both candidates agreed on what the issues are, Cheryl Cook articulated how she would accomplish change by moving policy forward. I am voting for Cheryl Cook for First Selectman because she is an experienced selectman with an extensive knowledge base and deep relationships locally and at the state level.

Cheryl’s vast experiences serving on a variety of boards and commissions, as well as volunteering for numerous causes position her well to support businesses navigating the transition to a town manager government, advance economic development, and advocate for persons with disabilities and our aging community.

She is an authentic and caring leader who understands the importance of relationships as well as experience and in achieving change.
