Linda Roberge, 58, Dies Dec. 7, Always Said She Had an Unexplainable Connection to Pearl Harbor
Her wake will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 14 in Canton; her funeral, 11 a.m., Monday in Collinsville.

Linda P. Roberge, loving mother and wife, was called to the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014. She was 58 years young. Linda was an amazing person with unbelievable strength and courage.
She was born on April 18, 1956 and lived in Simsbury with her husband and two sons. Linda grew up in Burlington and graduated from Lewis S. Mills High School.

After high school, she held various jobs and was currently employed by Highland Capital Brokerage in Farmington.
Linda loved to watch old movies with her favorites being Pearl Harbor, Top Gun and Titanic. She always said she had some unexplainable connection to Pearl Harbor. Linda loved the beach, jewelry and spending time with her family, friends and her beloved dog Clark.

Linda is survived by her husband, Kendall Roberge and her two sons, Ryan and Adam Taylor of Simsbury; her mother, Elinor Poirier of Concord, NC; her siblings, Mark Poirier and his wife Beth of Concord, NC, Joanne Neuhausser and her husband Karl of Burlington and Brian Poirier of Torrington as well as many aunts, an uncle, six cousins, two nieces and two nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, Raymond Poirier. The family would like to thank the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center, Fresenius Medical Care Dialysis Center, Hartford Health Care at Home and Hartford Hospital for the compassionate care they provided.
Her family will receive friends on Sunday, Dec. 14 from 4 to 7 p.m., at Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Tpk. in Canton. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Dec. 15, 11:00 am at St. Patrick’s Church in Collinsville. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
