Simsbury Meadow’s (www.simsburymeadows.com) will be Rocking all weekend long! The “Meadow’s” will be the only place in CT where you can see 2 of the summer’s biggest names on tour! Friday night @7pm southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd kicks off the weekend and then on Sunday evening @6:45pm legendary country singer Willie Nelson and family with special guest Kelly Musgrave followed by another country legend Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas take the stage. Wow what a line up!
Come on down Friday night and relive some of the music that made Lynyrd Skynyrd one of the hottest southern rock bands of all time! “Sweet home Alabama” “Free Bird”, “Smell that smell” and my fav “What’s your Name” will be filling the air on Iron Horse Blvd. Then on Sunday grab your father and your best Stetson and head on over to hear 2 of country music’s legendary performers: Willie Nelson and Alison Krauss.

Unlike the Talcott Mountain Music festival, Premier Concerts, the event promoter, does not allow food or drinks to be brought into the Meadows for the Summer Concert Series. But there is plenty of Beer, Wine and non-alcoholic beverages for sale along with plenty of fine food vendors to choose from for your al fresco dining enjoyment. Please leave your coolers and picnic baskets at home, they will not be allowed in the Meadows for any of the three Summer Concert Series events.
