'Man About a Horse' Comes to Simsbury Historical Society

High-energy Bluegrass, Philly-style, right in the heart of Simsbury!

On Saturday, April 4 at 7 p.m, come to Simsbury Historical Society’s Meetinghouse for a musical treat. Man About a Horse, hailing from Philadelphia, is swinging by Simsbury on ”The EP” Release Tour, celebrating their debut studio recording.

Man About a Horse blends unique versions of popular tunes with heartfelt originals and traditional Americana and bluegrass. Since starting their career in the spring of 2014, they’ve played their way into the heart of their hometown Philadelphia.

Their debut studio recording, “The EP,” was released in March 2015, and has received radio play on both mainstream and bluegrass radio stations around the country. Sierra Hull, IBMA-nominated recording artist, says of their debut effort, “Man About a Horse offers up a really fun collection of songs on their first EP. Their high energy and harmony is sure to make you want to dance!”
