"Molotov cocktails" are bottles with a flammable liquid inside and, when a fuse is lit, they can spread fire when the bottles shatter on impact after being thrown.
Police said the home's occupants did not sustain any injuries in last year's attack.
The case was investigated by the Simsbury Police Department, with support from the Simsbury Fire Marshal's Office and the Connecticut State Police Fire and Explosive Investigation Unit.
