Man Robs Bank in Simsbury
The bank robbery was reported around 10:15 a.m., according to police.
SIMSBURY, CT — Police are investigating a bank robbery that took place in town Friday morning.
At 10:19 a.m., the Simsbury Police Department received a report of a bank robbery at TD Bank at 714 Hopmeadow Street. The male suspect showed a note demanding money, and he was given an unspecified amount of money and left the bank on foot, Lt. Frederick Sifodaskalakis said.
No weapons were threatened, Sifodaskalakis said.

The man has been described as a white male about 5-feet-6, in his 30s with a salt and pepper beard, Sifodaskalakis said.
