Mark C. Schmidt, D.D.S., of Simsbury, a specialist in hospital dentistry, has re-joined the medical staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center as Associate Director, Department of Dentistry; and Program Director, General Practice Residency in Dentistry.
A veteran of more than 30 years in dentistry, Dr. Schmidt served as Program Director, General Practice Residency Program in Hospital Dentistry at Saint Francis from 1991 to 2002.
Dr. Schmidt received his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry, Philadelphia, PA. He completed a general practice residency in hospital dentistry at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, Charity Hospital of New Orleans, New Orleans, LA.

Dr. Schmidt is a member of the American Dental Association; the Connecticut Dental Association; Special Care Dentistry Association; and the American Association of Hospital Dentists.
