Mitchell Auto Shows Support For Bike MS Ride

National MS Society senior manager of corporate relations Eric Szafran accepts a $1,500 check from Jill Mitchell Gettinger, director of community partnership development at Mitchell Auto Group in Simsbury. The check is representative of Mitchell Auto Group’s bronze sponsorship of the Chapter’s upcoming 2016 Bike MS Praxair Off The Chain Ride, which will take place Sunday, June 5, in Windsor. A second ride will take place Sunday, June 12, in Norwalk. Mitchell Auto Group has been a longtime supporter of Bike MS, both from a participation standpoint as well as a sponsorship one. Funds raised through chapter events, such as Bike MS, ensure ongoing scientific research to find a cure for multiple sclerosis, a potentially debilitating disease. Funds also provide for vital programs and services offered by the National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter, to the more than 6,500 residents in the state living with multiple sclerosis.
