Mobile Food Truck Starts Simsbury Service This Week
The mobile truck will be at a local church for a half-hour every other Monday through Dec. 23.
SIMSBURY, CT — The town's community and social services department this week began hosting a Mobile FoodShare truck to distribute food to those who need it.
The van's first visit in Simsbury was Monday, July 8, from 1 to 1:30 p.m. at the First Church of Christ, 689 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury.
It will be at the same time and location again on Monday, July 22, with visits there every other week through Dec. 23, according to Simsbury Community and Social Services.
