Moms, dads, grandparents and the diverse families who make up our community will have a new resource for questions about local neighborhood schools, the best pediatricians, 24-hour pharmacies and the thousands of other issues that arise while raising children.

Q. This winter's heavy snowfall has brought a seemingly endless series of snow days for students throughout the area. Should Connecticut schools consider an idea raised in communities around the country: using online tools to continue learning at home when weather keeps the kids out of school.
