Clemson University, Clemson SC

• Two students from Weatogue have been named to the President's List at Clemson University for the fall 2017 semester. They are Julie M. Longfritz, whose major is Economics, and Griffin Edward Myslow, whose major is General Engineering To be named to the President's List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.
• A pair of students from Simsbury have been named to the Dean's List at Clemson University for the fall 2017 semester. They are Hayes Patrick Martin, whose major is Economics, and Brian Maher, whose major is Mechanical Engineering. To be named to the Dean's List, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Western New England University congratulates 412 students named to the fall 2017-2018 President's List. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher. Honorees from Simsbury are Brendan Kaljulaid, majoring in Accounting, and Madeline Mancarella, majoring in Communication - Media Theory & Production.
• Nicholas Peluso, of West Simsbury, has been named to the Dean's List at Western New England University for the fall semester of 2017. He is working toward a degree in Computer Science. Students are named to the Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher.
