New Dining Services At The Virginia Connolly Residence

The Simsbury Housing Authority is pleased to announce that Glendale Senior Dining Services, of Manchester New Hampshire, has been contracted to provide dining services to the residents at the Virginia Connolly Residence. Glendale’s mission is to create a dining experience that gives our residents the respect, choice and dignity they deserve. Glendale has appointed Kevin Wagner as the new Chef Manager. Kevin brings years of culinary experience and training as a chef. He will be offering some new cuisine and looks forward to enhancing the dining experience for the residents.

The Virginia Connolly Residence is a 40-unit congregate and assisted-living community, committed to providing a safe, caring environment and allowing residents to maintain and prolong their independent living status. The Residence is overseen by the non-profit Simsbury Housing Authority, which also manages The Dr. Owen L. Murphy Apartments, consisting of 70 garden-style units for seniors and persons with disabilities. Both properties are located at 1600 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury.
