Opening Games Slated for Simsbury High School Teams

SIMSBURY, CT — With winter sports practices in full swing and preseason games already on the horizon, it's time to begin thinking about opening day for the 2017-18 regular season. Here are the opening game schedules for each sport at Simsbury High School; click the sport for the complete season schedule.

• girls ice hockey - Saturday, 12/9 vs. New Canaan, 6:20 p.m.
• girls basketball - Monday, 12/11 at East Catholic, 6:45 p.m.
• wrestling - Wednesday, 12/13 at Middletown, 6 p.m.
• boys swimming - Friday, 12/15 at Bulkeley Relays, 3:30 p.m.
• indoor track - Saturday, 12/16 at Hartford Public, TBA
• boys basketball - Saturday, 12/16 at Newington, noon
• boys ice hockey - Saturday, 12/16 at South Windsor, 5 p.m.
