Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?
I believe public service is a way of contributing to a community that has given me and my family so much.
Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ___, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Receiving the best value for the taxes they pay. I intend to continue to bring transparency, pragmatism and discipline to the budgetary process.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I believe comparative politics is unhealthy for our community and our country. That said, my philosophy as an elected official is to listen first to my constituents and to then represent collaboratively and faithfully for the good of the community.

I have a diverse background including financial services (Goldman Sachs) , medical (Weill Cornell School of Medicine) and community volunteerism, including board of selectmen, historic district commission chair, Simsbury Library Board of Trustees Strategic Planning Co-Chair, PTO President, Healing Meals and Rotary Club.
