Youth Hockey Team Wins Sectional Championship
Upset win was the perfect end to a strong season for the Simsbury Youth Hockey team.

After reaching the Final Four in the CHC Tier 2 State Tournament, the Simsbury Peewee A Youth Hockey Team earned a bid to the USA Hockey New England District Tier 2 Peewee Sectional Tournament last weekend in Manchester, New Hampshire.
The Simsbury Youth Hockey Peewees joined a field that included state champions and finalists from Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

Simsbury put together a great run winning 5 straight games in the tournament and recovering in the final to beat Massachusetts 3-2 in a thrilling game to win the Championship.
The Peewees finish a great season with a record of 32-12-5 on the year, as finalists in the Thanksgiving Tournament, Champions of the Holiday Tournament, final four in the States, and Sectional Champions.
