Photography Display at Simsbury Public Library

Simsbury Camera Club member John Straub has a collection of his water photography on display at the Simsbury Public Library now through March 31st. As John states, 'Water has long been the source of fascination for photographers. Whether in the energetic forms of falls, surf or whitewater rapids or in the tranquil forms of reflecting ponds or early morning mist, water frequently conveys a mood that may transfer well to the photograph. These images are attempts on my part to capture some of that energy and calm. Most are from Connecticut, one from the Adirondacks and two are from Ireland. I hope you enjoy them!'

The library is located at 725 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury. Hours are Monday-Thursday 9:30-8:30, Friday 9:30-5:30, Saturday 9:30-5:30 and Sunday 1:00-5:00. It will be closed on February 20th for President's Day.
