On an unseasonably warm late October afternoon, runners from Simsbury High School navigated the hilly 3.1 mile course at Wickham Park in Manchester at the Central Connecticut Conference Cross Country Championships.

Competing in the Central-Blue division, the Trojan boys placed second behind Glastonbury. Solomon Davis led the way for Simsbury, finishing ninth overall. Joseph O’Bryan also had a strong outing, placing 13th in the pack of 207 runners.

On the girls’ side, Maeve Daily ran an excellent race, finishing 17th in the 174-girl field.
