Simsbury Library Definitely In Yuletide Mood

A noted pianist will perform Sunday, while Santa Claus will be stopping by on Tuesday.

SIMSBURY, CT — The Simsbury Public Library will be a very festive place in coming days, with two holiday events expected to bring in community members of all ages.

It starts on Sunday, Dec. 18, when pianist Paul Bisaccia will entertain guests by playing various holiday classics on a piano in the library facility.

His jazzy style will be showcased from 2 to 3 p.m. at the library, 725 Hopmeadow St.

Registration for the free event closes on Sunday.

It is being sponsored by the Friends of the Simsbury Public Library organization.

Then, a couple days later, Santa Claus himself will be on hand at the library on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 10:30 a.m. for "Sing-Along Storytime With Santa."

Though preparing for his big day later in the week, Santa will engage youngsters and their caregivers with holiday spirit and song at this free, drop-in program.
