Two railroads – the Canal Line and the Central New England – ran through Simsbury during the 19th and 20th centuries and played an integral part in the town’s history. Join us as Simsbury resident Bill Curtiss and former Simsbury resident and station agent Karl Stieg describe the origins, development, and eventual demise of the railroads with photos, maps and stories.
