SEAN ASKHAM FOR BOARD OF SELECTMAN

I enthusiastically support Sean Askham in his bid for re-election to the Simsbury Board of Selectmen.

As Chairman of the Simsbury Culture, Parks & Recreation Commission, I have worked directly with Sean. He is the Board of Selectmen Liaison to the Commission. During our time together, Sean has repeatedly shown his leadership skills and dedication to the Town. He has a keen awareness of budgetary issues and how they relate to the Town’s goals. He has consistently evaluated projects, agendas or plans with an eye toward making sure that any proposed expenditure is within the budget requirements. At the same time, he is a strong advocate for the Commission and the recreational needs of Simsbury residents. He has also continued to demonstrate his commitment to Simsbury by volunteering at numerous town events.

I have also observed Sean at numerous Board of Selectmen meetings. He is always very well prepared and has shown great insight when discussing important issues for the town. His dedication to the job tasks of a Selectman is obvious, and he will continue to be a strong advocate for Simsbury residents. The Town is in good hands when Sean Askham is one of our Selectman. He will continue to insure that Simsbury remains one of the best places in the country to live. I ask that you join me in supporting his re-election bid for Selectman.
