Rep. Hampton recognized for perfect voting record
Third consecutive legislative session with 100% voting record

HAMPTON EARNS 100 PERCENT VOTING RECORD, AGAIN
Simsbury’s State Representative John Hampton has once again been recognized for voting on every bill coming before the General Assembly. The milestone marks the third consecutive year Rep. Hampton has compiled a perfect voting record in the legislature. The House of Representatives Office of the Clerk announced lawmakers’ voting records this week.
”I am very proud of my voting record in Hartford because that’s what Simsbury residents expect from their State Representative,” said Rep. Hampton. “I was elected to be Simsbury’s voice at the Capitol and I take the responsibility quite seriously. I will continue to work diligently for my district next year and beyond.”

According to the House Clerk, Rep. Hampton was present for all 392 votes in the 2019 General Assembly.
First elected in 2012, Hampton is in his fourth term representing the 16th House Assembly District. Hampton is Vice-Chair of the Aging Committee and also sits on the Commerce and Children committees. In addition to his committee assignments, Rep. Hampton is also the Majority Whip at Large.
