Rick Callahan Promoted to Lieutenant in Simsbury

Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company Fire Chief James Baldis has announced the promotion of Engineer Rick Callahan to Lieutenant at Firetown station.

Callahan joined the Fire Company in 2011. Among his certifications are Firefighter II, Fire Instructor I and Emergency Medical Responder. He has received the Fire Company’s Carl Banks Engineer’s Award for his Engineer duties and the Lea Hutchinson Service Award for initiative and capability in the fire service.
