Expect Delays Saturday Due To Simsbury Road Race
On Saturday, Sept. 24, Iron Horse Boulevard will be closed to traffic from 8:15 a.m. until approximately 11:45 a.m.

SIMSBURY, CT — On Saturday, Sept. 24, Iron Horse Boulevard will be closed to traffic from 8:15 a.m. until approximately 11:45 a.m. for the River Run 5k and 10k road race.
In addition, the following roads will be closed to traffic from 9:45 a.m. until approximately 11:15 a.m.: Drake Hill Road (between Iron Horse Boulevard and Riverside Road); Terry's Plain Road; Riverside Road; and East Weatogue Street (between the north and south ends of Riverside Road).

Residents will be able to enter and leave and there will still be access to area businesses.
At times this may be delayed for several minutes to allow for large groups of runners to proceed through.

It is suggested drivers seek alternate routes in these areas during this time.
Parking for the event is listed as the commuter lots on Iron Horse Boulevard. Participants should access these lots on the Hopmeadow side.
