Several New Faces Sworn In To Serve Simsbury
Simsbury Town Hall has been a very busy place this month, with several people being sworn in to new roles in the community.

SIMSBURY, CT — April has been a busy one at Simsbury Town Hall, with several new town employees and officials raising their right hands and being sworn in to duty.
Since April 1, the Town of Simsbury has officially filled multiple positions and roles in local government, with plenty of new faces arriving.

• April 1 — Sherry Clemens was sworn in as the new Simsbury tax collector after serving for six years as the tax collector in East Granby.
• April 1 — Simsbury officially swore in members for the Simsbury Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Council.

The board was formed in 2019 and aims to "make Simsbury a more inclusive community."
• April 11 — Simsbury Senior Center Coordinator Kathleen Marschall was sworn in as Simsbury Municipal Agent for Elderly Persons.
Her new role is to "assist our senior residents in learning about and applying for resources and benefits," speaking on behalf of seniors to government organizations.
