Several Towns Invited To Regional Household Waste Collection Saturday
While located in Simsbury, the collection is open to residents of Avon, Canton, Granby, Suffield, and Farmington.
SIMSBURY, CT — Residents in several area towns will be able to go to Simsbury Saturday, Oct. 19, and safely dispose of their household hazardous waste.
The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Simsbury Public Works Department, 66 Town Forest Road, Simsbury.
While located in Simsbury, the collection is open to residents of multiple towns in the region, such as Avon, Canton, Granby, Suffield, and Farmington.

In addition to household hazardous waste, the following items will also be collected for free: Electronics; Used Motor Oil; and on-site, shredded personal documents (limit of two boxes)
This is the third and final such event in 2024, the prior two happening in Simsbury and Farmington earlier this year.
