Shops at Farmington Valley host BARNSIDE BREWS October 12th 1-6PM

Fall is in the air and that means it’s festival time. Beer enthusiasts can rejoice in the first ever “Barnside Brews” beer festival at THE SHOPS AT FARMINGTON VALLEY on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 1:00-6:00PM. Featuring seasonal craft beers by HANGING HILLS BREWERY, all proceeds from Barnside Brews will be donated to charity partner, GIFTS OF LOVE.

“We are really excited to bring the first ever Barnside Brews beer festival to The Shops at Farmington Valley,” says General Manager Liz Ackerman. “The Farmington Valley is a really cool area, and our barn at the Shops provides the perfect backdrop for a fun fall festival. After all, what better way to celebrate fall than with a beer festival that will benefit a fabulous local charity like Gifts of Love.”

Charity partner Gifts of Love reduces financial crises for working individuals and families in the Greater Hartford area with offering short-term programs and education that support and improve sustainability.

Food from two on-site food trucks, Craft Bird and Donut Crazy, will be available for purchase along with The Shops on-site eateries. Guests can mill about the rustic and cozy decor under the glow of twinkling lights while enjoying the sounds of live music from the band “Among the Acres” voted Hartford's "Best New Band of 2018".

Tickets are $10 in advance online through Eventbrite [search Barnside Brews] and $15 at the door. Children 12 and under are free and can enjoy fall games and activities. Each 21+ ticket includes one 10oz beer of your choice from a variety of seasonal and craft brews from Hanging Hills Brewery. The first 200 guests to purchase tickets will receive a swag bag filled with goodies.
