Board of Selectmen Meeting July 13, 2026

I would like to report that although Deputy First Selectman Steve Antonio filed a no trespass report with the Simsbury Police against me, I have not been arrested or detained by the Simsbury Police, so far.

Deputy First Selectman Steve Anonio has lived in Simsbury under a protective shield within the government.

George Orwell wrote in Animal House, “All animals are created equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”

This is a thinly veiled allegory for the Soviet Union where the government rules and gives special privileges to a chosen few.

Animal House serves as a satirical jab at real-world totalitarianism, exposing how corrupt leaders use language to advocate for equality while unfairly protecting their own privileges.

Deputy First Selectman Steve Antonio has not assumed any responsibility for his actions and has been given a pass on his behavior throughout his life.

Deputy First Selectman Steve Antonio, the ruling class, will do everything in his power to destroy, by whatever means, anyone who dares to challenge his credibility.

Deputy First Selectman Steve Antonio is using his authority to destroy the credibility of law-abiding citizens.

As a result of Deputy Selectman Steve Antonio’s actions, I am asking through the social media that everyone boycott the Antonio Restaurant and the Hideaway Bar until Steve Antonio removes the” No Trespass” complaint against me.

Simsbury Community Media (SCTV) provided all volunteers a buffet at Antonio’s Restaurant, that I attended.

This year, I would suggest that SCTV choose another restaurant for their volunteer appreciation dinner and boycott Antonio’s Restaurant since I will not be able to attend due to the “No trespass “complaint against me.

I recently questioned a sign at the Simsbury Inn entrance that was not permitted.

When the Zoning Compliance Officer notified them that the sign was illegal, they immediately removed it from their property.

When Deputy Firat Selectman was notified of an illegal sign that was not included in the site plan approval process, “Call Your Mother”, it remains on his property, disregarding the process and the Rule of Law.

No action has been taken against Deputy Selectman Steve Antonio.

The Fire Department was called to a July 4^th party with 250 people in attendance at 133 Holcomb Street, the Antonio property that had a fireworks display of illegal fireworks.

The fireworks were confiscated and a 17-page report was generated with pictures of the illegal fireworks.

No arrests were made.

Although Deputy First Selectman Steve Antonio has tried to get a restraining order against me, I have not received any indication that this veiled threat was reported to the court or denied by the court for being without merit.

Deputy Selectman Steve Antonio is a bully and should not be given any place of authority over the Simsbury community.

As a result of Deputy Selectman Steve Antonio’s actions, I am asking all residents to boycott the Antonio Restaurant and Hideaway Bar until he removes the” No Trespass” complaint against me.

On June 10, 2026 several schools had a field trip at High Meadow Day Camp in Granby, Ct.

Officer Ball was on private duty to assist in the security at the camp on June 10, 2026.

Officer Ball is the Simsbury Community Services Officer and K-9 handler for the Simsbury Police Department.

Tragedy occurred where multiple schools were visiting High Meadow Day Camp.

It was reported that a child slipped into the 6-foot-deep end of the swimming pool where the child suffered a medical emergency.

It was reported that Simsbury Police Officer Ball immediately performed life-saving measures at the scene.

The child was reported dead later that evening.

Numerous other students witnessed the event and were overcome with emotion, requiring emergency medical services.

However, the Comfort Dog was not with Officer Ball, the K-9 Officer at the time giving comfort to the distraught students.

Now that we are celebrating our 250^th year of Independence, it is time that all elected officials should be required to read the Declaration of Independence as a requirement for public service.

It states that Governments derive their legitimate authority entirely from the people they govern.

It is government by the people for the people and these rights should not be diminished by First Selectman Wendy Mackstutis banging a gavel during a public forum and shouting when a speaker is timed-out like a lunatic.
