Simsbury Boys Lacrosse - Senior Spotlight - Colin Walsh

Most influential person: Mr. Levin. He was my coach for for a few years during youth lax.

When did you begin playing lacrosse: Colin started playing lacrosse in first grade and then left to play baseball like his older brother, Brendan. He returned to lacrosse during his fourth grade year. Lacrosse has always been my best sport.

No psych tune but pregame advice would be to stay positive and never underestimate your opponents.

Most memorable Simsbury Lacrosse moment:  Beating Glastonbury on Senior Night and scoring a goal.

My biggest fans are Mom and Dad. I want to say thank you to them for all the support they have given me these many years.

Favorite athlete... Alex Ovechkin

Favorite class: Financial Literacy

Other sports: Played Varsity Hockey my senior year

Advice for new lacrosse players: Never give up and always step to the ball.

I will be attending Wheaton College in Norton, MA in the fall and will be playing for the Wheaton Lyons!
