Three local businesses in Simsbury generously donated brand new furniture, as well new carpeting, to Simsbury Community Television (SCTV) for their television set, which is used daily by a variety of businesses, citizens and organizations in the area. Simsbury Bank, Hassett & George P.C., and Action Carpet all donated over $3,000 worth of furniture and carpeting to the television studio, which has been operating in the town since 1984. The SCTV facilities are available free of charge to trained volunteers for community programs.
