Simsbury To Close Local Roadway For Paving Project
A section of the road will close daily from July 6-8 for paving, with local and emergency access maintained.
SIMSBURY, CT — A section of Stratton Brook Road in Simsbury will be closed for three days next week as crews repave the roadway, town officials announced.
The closure will affect the portion of Stratton Brook Road between Bushy Hill Road and Farms Village Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, July 6, Tuesday, July 7, and Wednesday, July 8.
Motorists will need to use alternate routes during the daily closures to allow paving crews to work safely, according to the town.

Local traffic and emergency vehicles will continue to have access to the area as needed throughout the project.
Town officials thanked residents and motorists for their patience as the paving work is completed to improve Simsbury's roadways.
