Simsbury Considering Security Camera Proposal Near Murder Scene
A proposal to purchase security cameras for Iron Horse Boulevard with private funding has been given to town officials.

Efforts are underway to raise funds to purchase security cameras for a Simsbury street where a woman was murdered last year.
Local resident Don Massey is spearheading a drive to raise enough money to purchase the cameras to improve safety on Iron Horse Boulevard, the Hartford Courant reported.
Melissa Millan, 54, was stabbed to death on Nov. 20, 2014 on or near the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail. A $40,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of her killer.

Last month, Simsbury police and FBI agents spent three days combing the area; they have not said whether they discovered any new evidence.
