Simsbury Coronavirus Update: Two New Cases Confirmed

As of Tuesday, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 reached seven in Simsbury, according to state health officials.

SIMSBURY, CT — The number of confirmed cases of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) in Simsbury has risen to seven, as the number of cases in Connecticut broke 3,000 Tuesday. Statewide, the number of deaths related to the virus has reached 69, with 608 hospitalizations. About 15,600 people have been tested for the virus, according to state health officials.

Fairfield County continues to compile the highest number of confirmed cases with 1,870, or 59.8 percent of the state's total. Hartford County, in which Simsbury is located, has confirmed 393 cases with seven deaths.
