Simsbury Cracks Top 10 in Preseason Baseball Poll
The Trojans are the lone school from Hartford County ranked in the top 20.

SIMSBURY, CT — When it comes to predicting the 2018 baseball season, Simsbury High School is expected to be the top dog in northern Connecticut, as the only team from Hartford County listed in the top 20 of the preseason poll of sports media members.
The Trojans, who were 9-11 last season, placed 10th in the initial balloting.
Defending Class LL champion Staples received 10 of 11 first-place votes to top the rankings, followed by runner-up Amity Regional, which also garnered a first-place nod.
