Simsbury Crew Holds its Annual Banquet

On Sunday, June 2, the Simsbury crew students, coaches, and their families all gathered together at Simsbury High School to share a meal, celebrate an awesome year of rowing and bid farewell to their seniors.

The team celebrated congratulated their seniors ,Victoria Avery, Ellery Baracomb, Audrey Chung, Erika Zdravkovico, Cristina Marchetti, Dante Oliveira, Andrew Orosz,DBrady Quinn and Henry Schuck, on their commitment and dedication to the team, and bid them farewell and all of the best for the next chapter in their lives.

The Novice Girls Award was presented to Adeline Escamilla and the Most Improved Awards went to Katie Orosz and Thomas Costello. The Exemplary Achievement Awards were awarded to Avery Fish and Surya Patel and The John Paul Vincent Award went to Dylan Lindholm. The David Godfrey Memorial Scholarship Award was presented to Cristina Marchetti and the Alumni Scholarship Award was awarded to Andrew Orosz.

The Simsbury Crew Boathouse will not be closed all summer, as the Annual Summer Crew Camp will be taking place from July 8th. Registration can be found online at the link below.
