Simsbury Crew: Uniting for Community Good at the Annual Book Sale

In a heartwarming display of community spirit and teamwork, Simsbury Crew athletes joined forces to support the Friends of the Simsbury Public Library in setting up their annual Giant Used Book Sale. This much-anticipated event, scheduled for this upcoming weekend, serves as a crucial fundraiser for the library.

Throughout the summer, the Friends of the Simsbury Public Library diligently collected used books, puzzles, games, CDs, and DVDs from the local community, packing them into boxes for transport. The Simsbury Crew team then took on the mammoth task of moving these numerous boxes from the library to Simsbury High School, the venue for the book sale.

With unwavering determination and a shared sense of purpose, the Crew athletes tirelessly unloaded several truckloads of boxes. Their efforts directly contribute to the success of the book sale, which, in turn, funds essential services, programs, and activities provided by the library.
