Simsbury Garners Votes in Latest Baseball Poll

Despite a season-opening loss, the Trojans got some voter support in the latest weekly poll.

SIMSBURY, CT — The seemingly never-ending winter has wreaked havoc with the baseball schedule for Simsbury High School, but the Trojans did manage to open the season last week, albeit with a one-run loss to Greenwich.

Simsbury collected some support from voters in the latest weekly poll of media members. The Trojans have tough games scheduled this week against CCC foes Manchester and South Windsor.

Staples (1-0) was the unanimous top choice of voters this week, placing first on all 12 ballots.
