Simsbury Girls Maintain High Ranking In Basketball Poll

The Trojans need three more wins to complete an undefeated regular season.

SIMSBURY, CT — Two more victories over tough opponents last week enabled Simsbury High School to maintain its third-place ranking in the most recent girls basketball poll of coaches and media members.

The Trojans (17-0) toppled Southington and Conard last week, both of whom received votes in the latest statewide balloting. Simsbury hosts Bristol Central Tuesday, then travels to highly-rated Farmington on Friday.

Mercy (17-0) again edged New London (17-0) for the top spot in this week's poll.
