Simsbury Girls to Open LL Basketball Tournament at Home

The Trojans are seeded fourth in Class LL, according to the brackets released Wednesday morning.

SIMSBURY, CT — The road to Mohegan Sun starts Monday and Tuesday, as 130 high school girls basketball teams begin their quests for state championships in the CIAC tournaments.

An impressive 18-2 regular season record earned Simsbury High School the No. 4 seed in the Class LL tournament and a home game in the first round. The Trojans will host No. 29 New Milford (9-11) Monday at 7 p.m.
