SIMSBURY, CT — GOP legislative hopeful Mike Paine is hosting an event Sunday, Oct. 23, with the Simsbury Republican Town Committee regarding his campaign for the state House of Representatives..

The event, called "Fallfest," is at 2 p.m. at the Talcott Mountain Collective, 140 Nod Road, in Simsbury.

Paine is running for the 16th House seat in the district, which only encompasses Simsbury.

He is running against Democratic hopeful Melissa Osborne, who won a primary over the endorsed candidate last August.
