Simsbury High Boys Lacrosse - Senior Spotlight - Jack Reese

Yet another great senior athlete who will retire from Simsbury High Lacrosse shortly.

Age when you started playing lacrosse: 12

Person who most influenced you in your lacrosse career and why: My dad for pushing me to play lacrosse and throwing the ball with my in the backyard.

Favorite psych tune: Nas –– ‘N.Y. State of Mind’

Any pre-game rituals: I take a 2-hour nap and get a sandwich at Subway.

Most memorable moment in your SHS lacrosse career: Rooney’s buzzer beater to tie it up against Guilford.

Your biggest fans: Mom and Dad

Favorite athlete: Rob Gronkowski

Favorite class at SHS: Statistics

Other activities and/or sports: Hockey

Advice for new lacrosse players: Be confident in yourself, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes.

Aspirations to play lacrosse in the future: Intramural/club lacrosse in college.

Post-high school plans: Attending the University of Michigan––Ann Arbor next fall.

Random fact about yourself: I really like Chipotle.
