Simsbury High Hall Of Fame Has Two Big Events

The Simsbury Trojans Hall of Fame is seeking support for a fundraising golf tourney and its induction ceremonies.

SIMSBURY, CT — Two major events are slated regarding the best Simsbury High School athletics has to offer, with the Simsbury Trojans Hall of Fame seeking support for both.

The Simsbury Trojans Hall of Fame Golf Outing and Dinner will be held at the Hopmeadow Country Club in Simsbury on Saturday, Oct. 1, with a noon start.

Meanwhile, the hall of fame induction ceremony is planned for Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, at the Riverview in Simsbury.

The Simsbury Trojans are actively seeking sponsors for the event ranging from $1,500 to $5,000.
Each level of support provides a variety of benefits.

The Class of 2023 athlete inductees includes Meghan Callahan, Class of 1998; Wes Connell, Class of 2000; Levar Gary, Class of 1998; Sam Kelly, Class of 2007; Tammy Thompson O’Brien, Class of 1989; Kip Sowpel, (Coach); Tom Vincent, Class of 1966; and Simsbury High School Baseball, Class of 1989.
