Simsbury Home Prices Keep Climbing — See Where They Stand Now

SIMSBURY, CT — Home prices in Simsbury have continued to trend upward over the past decade, reflecting broader housing market trends across Connecticut.

The typical home value in town is now about $524,977, according to Zillow data. Over the past year, values have increased roughly 5.9 percent.

The chart above shows how home values in Simsbury — along with several nearby communities — have changed since the early 2010s, according to Zillow Home Value Index data.

While growth was more gradual for much of the decade, prices began to accelerate around 2020, when housing demand surged during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. That pattern has been seen in many parts of the state, as low inventory and increased demand pushed prices higher.

Compared to some nearby towns, Simsbury remains among the higher-priced markets in the region, though still below some of the most expensive areas in central Connecticut.

Even as the pace of increases has shifted more recently, overall values have continued to trend upward.
