Simsbury To Host 'Sensory Friendly' Halloween Party
The event for children with sensory sensitivities will take place at the Simsbury Public Library on Oct. 30.
SIMSBURY, CT — Simsbury is having a very special Halloween Party next week for families with children dealing with sensory sensitivities and/or autism.
Local and community officials are hosting a "Sensory Friendly Halloween" event on Wednesday, Oct. 30, in the Simsbury Public Library's Friends Program Room.
The event will take place from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and it is free for all ages, with costumes welcomed.

It will feature giveaways, crafts, and refreshments, with all activities done in a way for those with sensory sensitivities to be able to enjoy the program.
The "Sensory Friendly Halloween Party" is sponsored by several town agencies, as well as the Simsbury Public Library and several local civic organizations.
