Simsbury Hosting Therapy Dog Meet-And-Greet

Guests on Dec. 27 will be able to meet two therapy dogs, enjoy refreshments and decorate treat bags for the Humane Society.

SIMSBURY, CT — Local children and families looking for something fun to do over the Christmas break from school might want to check out what the Simsbury Youth Services Bureau has to offer.

On Wednesday, Dec. 27, the department will host therapy dogs "Beau" and "Jake" at Eno Memorial Hall, 754 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury, for a "meet-and-greet" with these beloved canine pals.

The program is from 10 to 11 a.m.

Children and families of all ages are welcome and guests will be able to decorate dog treat bags that will be filled and donated to the Connecticut Humane Society.

In addition, light refreshments will be provided.
