Unlike traditional book clubs, however, there are no deadlines to complete works and no anxiety about mastering a book's theme, etc.

You just show up and talk about reading.

"You do not need to be reading anything to participate," wrote the library.

In true millenial technology fashion, the event is virtual via Zoom, with registrants receiving log-in information upon registering.

In addition to Simsbury Public Library clients, the program will also included millenials associated with the Bloomfield Public Library via a special partnership.

And, as a special treat, participants will receive a $5 gift card for Cake Gypsy out of Avon, which offers upscale cupcakes for those with sweet tooths.

Details on how to receive the gift cards is available upon registration as well.
