SIMSBURY, CT — The Simsbury Public Library next will week will host a special program as part of its ongoing "Simsbury Sustainability Conversations" program.

The information forum is at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, at 7 p.m. in the library's "Friends of the SPL Program Room," 725 Hopmeadow St.

The forum will discuss the impact and importance of home energy solutions services, which feature technicians going into a home and recommending ways to save energy following an inspection.

According to an announcement of the program, these services' seek to recommend low-cost or no-cost solutions to the problems.

For example, they might tell a homeowner to seal air leaks, wrap pipes and provide recommendations on larger projects.

One hand Wednesday will be a representative from Eversource Energy and a representatiave from New England Smart Energy.
