Simsbury Maintains Top 10 Spot In Girls Hoop Poll

The Trojans won 18 straight games to open the season.

SIMSBURY, CT — A perfect regular season did not materialize for the Simsbury High School girls basketball team, but the Trojans did manage to stay among the top teams in the latest weekly poll of coaches and media members.

Simsbury (18-1), which is currently ranked sixth, concludes its regular schedule Monday night at Glastonbury.

New London (20-0) took over the top spot in the most recent balloting.

Here are the top 10, plus all other teams receiving votes, with records through Feb. 11:
