Simsbury Obituary: Alice Jobson, 90

Alice V. Jobson, of West Simsbury, wife of Richard S. Jobson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at her home.

She was born in Hartford to the late Michael and Agnes Verbonick and graduated from Bulkeley High School. She had many fond memories of growing up in Hartford, especially Saturday night dances and working at Hueblein Distillery. Alice was a resident of Simsbury for nearly 60 years where she enjoyed gardening and travelling with Richard during their retirement years. She took great pride in caring for her home, but her family was most important.

Alice is survived by her son David Jobson of West Simsbury; her daughter Margaret Crofton and her husband Edward of Simsbury; her sisters Rose Millman and Margaret Hughes; her granddaughters Kathryn and Maggie, and her three great-grandsons. Be at peace, Mom.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
