
Carmine D. Forzono, 90, of Simsbury, husband of the late Marie (Coyne) Forzono, died Saturday, April 9, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford.
He was born May 12, 1925 in Tuxedo, NY, son of the late Joseph and Anna (Ferro) Forzono and had lived in Tuxedo, NY, Vincentown, NJ, and Ocala, FL, prior to moving to Simsbury 10 years ago. He was a veteran of the World War II having served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Forzono was an Electrician at Lederle Labs in Pearl River, NY for 39 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of St. Bernard’s Church in Tariffville, the Tuxedo NY Volunteer Fire Department, WW II Destroyer Escort Association. and was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his four children, James Forzono and his wife Susan of Simsbury, Patricia Rupp and her husband Ned of Hernando, FL, Carmine Forzono, Jr. and his wife Josee of Bonaire, GA and John Forzono of Cornwall, NY; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by 5 brothers and a sister.

There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 13th at St. Bernard’s Church, 7 Maple Street in Tariffville.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
