Simsbury Obituary: ​E. Dolores Wolff, 90

E. Dolores (Wellman) Wolff, 90, of West Simsbury, beloved wife of Robert Dow Wolff, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 24, 2018.

Born in New Orleans, LA, daughter of the late Walter and Rose Mae (Elliott) Wellman, she was raised there where she attended the Louise S. McGehee School and also Finch College in NY. She and her husband lived in West Simsbury since 1952 where she was an underwriter for the Aetna Insurance Company.

After retiring she was a home health aide with McLean’s and later a hospice volunteer. Dolores loved music, and for many years sang in the choir at the Simsbury United Methodist Church.

Besides her husband Robert, she leaves a son Robert Philip Wolff of Palm Harbor, FL and a daughter Susan Elizabeth Wolff Anderson and her husband Eric of Norfolk.

Private burial will be in Simsbury Cemetery. A Memorial Service of Music, for family and close friends will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 at 11 AM at the Simsbury United Methodist Church, Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury. A reception will follow the service.
